Co-op/Intern - Electrical Engineer (Power)
Position available May 2023 - August 2023
Qualifications: Electrical Engineering major interested in industrial power distribution, protection, analysis and installation.
Description of Assignment:
Under the mentoring of the Power Systems Manager and Group Leader:
Procure, program and integrate power monitoring devices
Analyze and improve electrical safety by implementing improved breaker settings
Determine conduit, wire selection, sizing and routing for various installations
Assist with Power System and Engineering Department paperwork, projects, maintenance and contractors.
Requirements for all Co-Op/Intern Positions:
Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university
A minimum GPA of 3.

Available to complete the entire 3 – 6-month assignment
Have the right to work in the U.

Outstanding problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
Excellent writing/verbal communication and presentation skills
Accomplished computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and database experience
Strong work ethic and the ability to work in cross-functional teams to deliver concrete project deliverables in a timely manner.
