*Position Overview:* We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Executive Director to lead our Chamber of Commerce into its next phase of growth and impact.
The Executive Director will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, building strong partnerships, and executing initiatives that drive economic development and support our diverse membership base.
*Key Responsibilities:*
• Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the Chamber's mission and objectives.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
• Lead fundraising efforts and revenue generation activities to ensure financial sustainability.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Chamber, including budget management, staff supervision, and program execution.
• Serve as the primary spokesperson and advocate for the Chamber, effectively communicating its value proposition to members and the broader community.
• Plan and execute impactful events, networking opportunities, and educational programs that add value to our membership.
• Leverage technology and digital platforms to enhance member engagement, communication, and marketing efforts.
*Qualifications:*
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Proven leadership experience in a Chamber of Commerce, business association, economic development organization, or similar entity.
• Demonstrated success in strategic planning, partnership development, and revenue generation.
• Strong understanding of economic development principles, business advocacy, and community engagement.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders and represent the Chamber in public forums.
• Proficiency in budget management, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
• Experience with event planning, marketing, and digital media strategies.
• Knowledge of local and regional economic trends, as well as relevant legislative and regulatory issues.
• Passion for supporting small businesses, fostering entrepreneurship, and driving sustainable growth in the community.
