The Data Specialist is responsible for regular reporting, analyzing and interpreting data to support decision-making processes and improve outcomes within the organization.
This role involves gathering, organizing, and maintaining accurate data related to patient care, program effectiveness and organizational performance.
The Data Specialist will utilize their expertise in data analysis tools and techniques to assist in identify trends, patterns and insights that can inform strategic initiatives and drive continuous improvement efforts.
This position will be remote, Monday through Friday.
*Essential Job Functions* · Responsible for regular reporting to support agency efficiency and compliance, including missing notes, note overlap, incomplete PAS, notes outside of business hours, looking glass, etc.
· Responsible for the data reporting for GPRA, SNAP, SOR, RRHIO and PSYKES.
· Collect, organize, and maintain data from various sources, including agency EMR, surveys, and administrative databases.
· Ability to understand agency databases well enough to design charts, graphs, tables, show trends, etc.
for the purpose of report generation to communicate data for analysis purposes.
· Responsible for dashboard and related data and reporting refreshes.
· Assist in the process of developing reports for various purposes and is able to work on a schedule that observes timelines and deadlines.
· Accurately processes daily report summaries using appropriate resources.

· Collaborates with clinical staff and administration to understand projects and data well enough to create documentation for tracking and trending.
· Maintain clerical aspects and administration related to quality assurance, resource utilization, and other outcomes.
· Consistently follows established HIPAA confidentiality guidelines.
_*Secondary Functions*_ · Participates as a contributing member of an interdisciplinary team.
· Keeps up to date on computer technology and information affecting functional area to increase innovation and ensure compliance.
· Performs other related work as assigned.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* Working knowledge of: · Computer applications and processes as related to understanding and interacting intelligently with systems such as 10e11, PSYCKES, RHIO, Microsoft Excel and other regulatory databases.
Ability to: * Prepare and present a variety of periodic and special reports of both a Professional and administrative nature.
* Adopt technology to maximize efficiency.
* Establish and maintain effective work relationships with others.
· Ability to accurately prepare and maintain documentation and reports utilizing computer databases and software programs including proficiency with spreadsheets.
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

*Physical Demands: *While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, to stand, to walk, to go up and down stairs, to operate foot and hand controls, to use a telephone, computer keyboard and to write.
Occasionally the employee must lift and/or move up to twenty (20) or more pounds.
This position requires accurate perceiving of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, handling and working with educational materials and objects, and providing oral information.
*Work Environment* The employee is expected to adhere to strict policies/regulations relative to being in a tobacco and alcohol free workplace.
Work is performed in a normal office environment.
*Qualifications* Associate’s degree in business field preferred.
Prior experience in medical records preffered.
10e11 specific experience highly desirable.
A valid driver’s license is a requirement for this position.
This position is subject to a criminal background clearance.
