Veterinary Technician

* Responsibilities: - Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals - Perform laboratory tests and analyze samples - Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians - Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures - Monitor and record vital signs of animals - Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery progress - Maintain accurate medical records and documentation - Clean and maintain veterinary equipment and instruments - Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment Experience: - Previous experience working as a veterinary technician or in a related field preferred - Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and animal husbandry - Familiarity with laboratory procedures and techniques - Experience handling dogs and other animals in a professional setting - Ability to provide veterinary critical care when necessary Skills: - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals - Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism If you are passionate about animal care and have the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
