CAREER DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Full-time (1.
0 FTE), 8-hour day, 12-month position Coordinates all Career Development Council Program activities Supervises and evaluates CDC staff Directs and Coordinates CDC Board Develops and manages budget; both CoSer funding and not-for-profit funding Maintains database of resources Teams with Business and Industry partners Researches, writes, and manages grants to support/expand CDC programs Initiates and coordinates a continuum of school-to-school work program experiences Understands and promotes liaison between Education and Business and Industry Actively involved in community; serves on regional committees Provides districts with reports and data, as needed Carry out all other duties as assigned Job Qualifications Valid NYS Certification in School Building Leader or School District Leader Experience in school-to-work programs, career and technical education, private industry and/or career education preferred Experience in Grant Writing also preferred SALARY RANGE: Dependent upon related work experience and education.
