Full-time (1.
0 FTE), 7-hour day, 10 month, school calendar position
Develop and provide professional development centered on technology/software for BOCES educators through a blend of push-in and pull out staff development models.
Create and administer self-assessment survey on technology integration with all instructional staff.
Share data with principals, tech support, and coordinators.
Follow up on needs with instructional staff.
Provide training to all teachers on the Computer Science and Digital Fluency Learning Standards.
Promote a vision for a well-rounded instructional environment that integrates technology to promote student learning.
Experience with Microsoft (Teams, SharePoint, One Note, Notebook, etc.
) preferred.
Create monthly technology tips for instructional staff.
Provide in-class support for instructional staff.
Support efforts to enhance collaboration and improve student outcomes.
Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators and other professional staff.
Work collaboratively with our Instructional Support Teacher for Technology, Staff Development Coordinators, Director of Technology and Instructional Staff.
Attend district, regional, and state-level meetings and trainings as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Valid New York State K-12 certification.
Minimum of four (4) years of successful teaching experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience in staff development with technology integration, Social Emotional Learning & Cultural Competency highly desired
Able to commute extended distances to support one or more districts throughout the GST BOCES region (~1 hr)
SALARY: Per Educational Association contract.
