Job Summary:
The Athens Area School District is looking for a visionary and compassionate leader who is ready to inspire young learners and create a culture of collaboration and academic excellence with staff! We're calling for an exceptional candidate to fill the 260-day ACT 93 Elementary School Principal position.
The qualified candidate will possess, or be eligible to receive, a PA Principal Certification/PK-12 Certification and have a solid grasp of instructional strategies.
Successful leadership and management skills will fuel our school's drive towards a culture of excellence.
The Elementary Principal will lead a talented educational team and collaborate with the community to cultivate a supportive, focused, and nurturing atmosphere.
Your excellent communication skills will build strong relationships, which is key for every student to excel.
Understanding the balance of challenges and opportunities inherent in leading an elementary school is vital.
