Kathairos Driver / Operators are responsible for the safe transportation of liquid nitrogen from local production and storage facilities to customer locations.
Driver / Operators will also operate a skid steer to load and unload microbulk liquid nitrogen tanks and deliver these tanks to customer locations.
*Roles and Responsibilities – will include, but not be limited to the following:*
* Complete proper pre/post-trip inspections on truck and perform minor repairs (e.
g.
air leaks, lights, mudflaps).
* Safely load/unload and transport liquid nitrogen to various locations in purpose-built trucks.
* Safely load and deliver microbulk nitrogen tanks to customer locations.
* Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on our assets (tighten fittings, leak monitoring and install / replace minor tank devices).
* Provide initial training to new employees and conduct regular training and coaching to all employees.
* Complete all required paperwork accurately and on-time (e.
g.
log books, trip sheets, nitrogen fill tickets).
* Complete Health, Safety and Environment training / documents as required.
*Requirements:*
* Valid Class A CDL (will consider Class B CDL).
* Valid Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
* Must meet all DOT requirements.
* Clean Drivers abstract with no more than 1 citation and 0 at-fault accidents within the last 3 years.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong computer skills.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
* Must have good interpersonal skills and work both collaboratively and independently.
* Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol test.
* Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
* Cryogenic experience considered an asset, but training will be provided.
* Off road oilfield hauling experience considered an asset.
