Must live within a 1hr radius of our Towanda Branch.
Must have a CLEAN MVR, non-restrictive license, experience driving 10 and 18 speeds are a must no exception and must be at least 21 years of age and have at least 1 year of verifiable experience hualing sand/transport.
Must be willing to flexible in day/night shifts as well as going from A class to a B class, we will do our best to give you what you want but must be willing to do other shifts/ trucks if needed.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and tankers/bottles.
- Transport goods and materials to and from specified locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by dispatch
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Proven experience driving various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, tankers, and forklifts
- Knowledge of proper loading and unloading techniques for different types of cargo
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation for loading and unloading purposes
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance as needed
- Strong understanding of route planning and navigation skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
